I am newbie for zenoss and linux, currently i facing problem when try to install zenoss on my Ubuntu machine. I am not sure what error is that so i only can post my zenbuild.log and hopefully someone can help me diagnostic what error i have. Thank you
I just ran into this last night as well while building core 4 on ubuntu 11. Try adding `#include <errno.h>` to /home/zenoss/zenossinst/build/zlib-1.2.3/example.c. Then re-run ./install.sh
I added it just below the two existings include statements in that file.
Is there a compelling reason you are trying to compile from source on a beta product? If this is intentional, the thread might be better suited for the zenoss-test section, as core 4 is still in beta.
That said, your latest what platform are you trying to compile on?
From your build log there is an error:
ERROR: /bin/sh: xslt-config: not found
** make sure the development packages of libxml2 and libxslt are installed **
Make sure those packages are installed.
