error regarding egg file

Dear all

              my first question is that if i have developed a zenpack so which egg file of that zenpack should i depoly on other PC so that it should work prperly the one in export folder or the on in the dist folder.

and this is the error that i am having right now



error in  setup command: ('Invalid module name', '')

In order to create egg file in dist directory by using command

python bdist_egg



does anybody knows about this. pls guide me. any help is highly appreciated.

    They should be the same!  When you export your ZenPack, that is what recreates the build directory structure, including the egg file and it also copies that egg file to the dist directory.


    What did you call your ZenPack??  You need to follow the naming convention of ZenPacks.<name or ogansiation>.<useful zenpack name>.


    An egg file, in fact, is just a zip of the ZenPack so, once you have copied it to your destination (or in a separate working area), you could unzip your egg to make sure it has the sort of things you expect in it.
