Event Transform

Zenoss 3.0.3

I am trying to transform some events starting with "threshold of operational status exceeded ..." to be more specific on the Cisco interface description.

I added "link status" EventClass Mappings to events -> status -> IpInterface, and with Regex "[^threshold of operational status exceede*]"; and "log.debug("Checking for event in a transform")" in Transform field as this forum suggested. I didn't see any debug information writen to zenhut.log "tail -f zenhut.log".

What did I miss here? please advise.

Thanks.

    Re: Event Transform

your zenhub is not running in debug mode so you cant see debug logs.

    ~]$ zenhub debug

your  event mapping may not be working well. If the eventClassKey is not matching. How do you map the events? (best is to map a similar event in the event console to that desired class by using the 'mapping' button)
