WMI Zenpack pulling details but no graphs

Hi Guys,

I read through other posts on this issue but couldnt find any solution.

I recently setup a Zenoss Server running on ubuntu to monitor a Windows Network.  After initially attempting to use SNMP to gather details I have begun trying to use WMI as SNMP was not gathering the details without installing an extra client on the target PC.

Since changing to WMI I can see all the details of the target but no graphs are being populated.  i checked under $zenhome/perf/devices and there are no rrd files being created there.

Server:      Ubuntu 12.04

Zenoss:     3.2.1

Zenpack:    ZenPacks.community.WMIPerf_Windows, ZenPacks.community.WMIDataSource, ZenPacks.community.SQLDataSource

Below is an example image.  You can see the details on the left are filled but that the graphs are all empty.

After loading the new Zenpack and add the targets to the new class am I supposed to manually add new graphs?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm expereincing the same issue. SNMP is working fine. I'm using WMIPerfIIS6 and I've found that I can run the bound template data sources perfectly. Data is returned, but it just doesn't seem that data is being collected for the graph.

I've run zenwin from the command line (results below). The only thing that looks odd is the error "Configuration for wdns01 unavailable -- is that the correct name?"

    zenoss@zenoss-vm:/usr/local/zenoss/zenoss/bin$ zenwin run -v10 -d wdns01

I removed all my zenpacks and installed them again. The same problem persists for me.

    Hi Robert,

i think you have problem with names resolution, and zenstatus daemon (which checks devices accessibility). Check zenstatus.log.

I fixed the problem! I just installed all the appropriate zenpacks and told the entire zenoss stack to restart. After that, evertyhing was working.
