I have downloaded and set up the Zenoss 4 virtual machine, and would like to add the official zenpacks to report on IIS/SQL Server etc.
The documentation says to call 'rpm -ivh zenoss-core-zenpacks-4.1.70-1541.el5.x86_64.rpm' (which I first downloaded), but this requires that Zenoss was installed using an RPM, which doesn't seem to the the case for the appliance (spoiler alert - I am not a big linux user, so add salt to taste..)
Is there anywhere that I can download the MS zenpacks from, to upload via the GUI? or am I doing something stupid?
I was under the impression the appliance was built from RPMs. Can you:
1) Send the exact error message you get when trying to install the RPM?
2) Send the output of (run as root) `rpm -qa | grep -i zenoss`
Ack! It seems that I was running zenoss 3 (the installation zip file says so too)!
Not sure how I managed that!; I think I'll just start again haha!
