As an newbie, I am wondering if it's possible to configure Zenoss to send out alert emails only when multiple conditions met.
For example, currently we set the alert will be generated while the free disk space is less than 10% of total space allocated. But it's not quite reasonable for a 100GB partition since 10% or 100GB still means 10GB free disk space left (quite a lot), the alerting email should be send out.
What we need is only when 2(or even more) conditions met, in this case, the free space is less than 10% and 2GB, then the alert will be generated.
Is that possible for Zenoss Core 3.2.1 ?
Simply add multiple filters to your alert.
The rule is that if you have multiple filters in an alert (or event command), then ALL filters must be met for the alert to fire - ie it is a logical AND. If you want a logical OR then setup multiple alerts and any that is True will fire the alert.
Thank you jcurry !
Could you descibe a little bit detail how we can do for this case ? we need setup a rule only be trigged when the free disk space is less than 1GB AND 10% of total space allocated.
Sorry for this stupid question but we haven't figured it out.
Hi, Anyone can give some hints for this specific request that rule only be trigged when the free disk space is less than 1GB AND 10% of total space allocated.
