problem with send event to zenoss

I try to use zenoss to monitoring of our Unix/Linux servers and many services/applications that runs on them. We have used OpenView Operations(OMU), but now we will use zenoss to this. Therefore I have  wrote many perl scripts that I will now used to send event to zenoss (instead of OMU). To do this I stardet with very simple Perl script:

$ cat
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
require RPC::XML;
require RPC::XML::Client;
$serv = RPC::XML::Client->new('http://zenosstest.???.???:8081/');
%evt = ('device' => 'Nagiostest', 'component' => 'eth1', 'summary' => 'eth1 is downnnnnn', 'severity' => 3);
$args = RPC::XML::struct->new(%evt);
$serv->simple_request('sendEvent', $args);
[zenoss@zenosstest ~]$

I forgot to sage that RPC::XML modul is installed on this server and therefore no problem with at running this perl script.

Is anyone that could tell me why this event doesn’t receive in zenoss

Many thanks in advantage
