Monitoring servers I have not had the "pleasure of monitoring an XP machine. I added one today and found that on this query; SELECT ProcessorQueueLength FROM Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_System I got an error.
I ran WMI Tester and received a 80041010:The specified class is not valid.
I ran wbemtst on the xp machine and got similar results.
Is this a messed up pc or is this common on xp machines?Several of the performance graphs do not work. What am I missing??
Do I need a different query for xp than for server?
Thanks for your help, I am probably missing something
This should work on most XP systems. There may be something unusual about this one. Take a look at the advice on the following page to see if it solves your problem.
Chet, you are da man. Free beer for all.
winmgmt /resyncperf rebuilds the performance counter classes in the repository. To be extra safe, winmgmt /clearadap clears the old data first.
