I have a few servers where the CDROM drive was mapped manually to Z:. It seems that these servers are the only ones that trigger a low disk space usage event. Zenoss does a good job of ignoring all the other CDROM drives on other servers, but mapping the drive letter seems to have thrown it off. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Add your z drive to the zFileSystemMapIgnoreNames. Like this
That way it will ignore all Z drives (more then Z shown)
That looked like it was going to work but the event still pops up. I noticed when remodeling the servers after making the change that the Z drive was ignored, or at least it said it was ignoring it. I even deleted the drive altogether in Zenoss with no affect.
You could use event transforms to change the severity to 0 or whatever... I use:
if evt.component == 'D:' and evt.severity != 0:
evt.severity = 2
To set to info... This is on 2.5.2...

I've found that create a local copy of template for each device that triggering this event can resolve it.
Try restarting the daemon that is generating these errors now that you have added the extra file systems to ignore.
