Domain Username Problem

I am trying to use a domain username for the WMI monitoring. The domain username is aub@unitedstates\zenossuser since this is a site within a division for a company. When I use this name in zWinUser I get the following event:

Could not read Windows services (NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED). Check your username/password settings and verify network connectivity.

If I use the local user .\administrator, it doesn't have problems. I am guessing that it has something to do with the '@' in the domain portion of the username. How would I be able to fix this problem?

Thanks for any input.

    I don't know that you can - that's a very unusual NT4 compatible domain

    name.

    HI,

    Have you read http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-4517

With our Domain User we use a forward slash "/"  in the ZProperties for the zWinUser field.  E.g. Domain/User

    Hope it helps

    Alex

    Cool, glad it worked.

Alzoo, Zenoss doesn't care which direction the slash is, both ways work.

    Re: Domain Username Problem

Well for our implementation a back slash \ didn't work, either had to use a forward slash / or double back slash \\
