When a node is down i get service alerts as well.

Hi,

I have seen this question in another forum but there was never an answer given. When my nodes are no longer pingable by zenoss. I also get an alert for every single service attached to that node. Is there a way to set zenoss to send a single alert when a node is down? I am using version 2.4.0

Not especially easily, you need to use event transforms. See:
