snmptrap decoding fails

Hi,

since I managed to import the SonicWALL MIBs (thanks to this forum) I receive still undecoded SNMP traps.

Here is the trap received by zentrap:
1.3.6.1.4.1.8741.1.1.2.0.4
And here is the relevant part from the MIB:
1.3.6.1.4.1.8714.1.1.2.0.4

Clearly both OIDs match (e.g. no additional zero inserted, as stated elsewhere).

For reference, a screenshot of the event generated by zenoss:

and a screenshot of the traps defined in the SONICWALL-TRAP-MIB:

I really don't understand why zenoss does not decode the trap nicely, or do I miss anything else here?

Any help would be appreciated (Zenoss 2.3.2 on Debian linux, stack-installer (deb))!

Regards
Marcus

    RE: snmptrap decoding fails
    I think you missed someting look:

    1.3.6.1.4.1.8741.1.1.2.0.4
    1.3.6.1.4.1.8714.1.1.2.0.4

    I think you need this mib:
    http://support.ipmonitor.com/mibs/SONICWALL-FIREWALL-TRAP-MIB/tree.aspx

    After loading this mib in zenoss you can test if zenoss is able to decode the trap without having this trap sended again.

    Login as the zenoss user and start zendmd

    zendmd
    Welcome to zenoss dmd command shell!
    use zhelp() to list commands
    >>> dmd.Mibs.oid2name('1.3.6.1.4.1.8741.1.1.2.0.4', exactMatch=False)
    'swFwTrapIpsecTunnel'
    >>>
