Zenoss is a supporter of and redistributes RRDtool as part of Zenoss Core. RRDTool is the industry standard data logging and graphing application. Use it to write your custom monitoring shell scripts or create whole applications using its Perl, Python or PHP bindings.



Twisted is an event-driven networking engine written in Python. Twisted is a key piece of infrastructure for Zenoss Core. Zenoss was a founding sponsor of the Twisted Foundation and continues to contribute to Twisted through the financial contributions.


Open Management Consortium

In May 2006 the Open Management Consortium was announced to help advance the promotion, adoption, development and integration of open source systems /network management software. The founding members of the consortium are Ayamon, Emu Software, Qlusters, Symbiot, Webmin, and Zenoss.



The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor the traffic load on network links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing PNG images which provide a LIVE visual representation of this traffic. Zenoss is a gold sponsor of the MRTG project which is developed by Tobi Oetiker who aslo develops RRDTool.



Zenoss is a supporting member of Usenix. Since 1975, the USENIX Association has brought together the community of engineers, system administrators, scientists, and technicians working on the cutting edge of the computing world.

Pycon 2007

Zenoss was a platinum sponsor of Pycon 2007. PyCon is a community-oriented conference targeting developers of Python applications and the Python interpreter itself. The organizers aim to make the conference affordable and accessible to all.
