The report provides the list of software which meet filtering conditions.

The list of software have to be available for a device,check that software is available: Navigate to host and click to Software on left pane.
If Installed Software is empty( for a Linux host):
1. verify that snmp provides information about software - on the host issue command (change version of snmp protocol and community if required):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public localhost hrSWInstalled
if the command does not return results - than you have to configure snmpd.
here is minimal configuration (snmpd.conf) which should work:
com2sec notConfigUser default public
group notConfigGroup v1 notConfigUser
group notConfigGroup v2c notConfigUser
access notConfigGroup "" any noauth exact systemview none none
view systemview included .1
tested on CentOS / RHel 5.x/6.x
2. verify that modeler zenoss.snmp.HRSWInstalledMap is configured for device.
