The ZCA is now debuting our Logo.

We've got some projects going on we'd like to raise awareness of and some progress to report.

1) The ZCA is providing testing and feedback on Core 4. In case you were waiting for builds for EL6, they are now available here:http://sourceforge.net/projects/zenoss/files/zenoss-alpha/4.1.70-1476/zenoss-4.1.70-1476.el6.x86_64.rpm/download

One of our members, dpetzel has created a script to get you going fast on test boxes (or prod I suppose, but this is Alpha so )

See here: http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-13121

2) Zenoss Inc is not planning on releasing Stack installers. There is a forum post from Jane Curry, a ZCA member, polling for OSs community members would like Core 4 to support. The ZCA plans on trying to build a debian .deb version, but needs community help with this - we don't have experienced debian packagers - we're asking for any help.

3) The ZCA can now take donations via Paypal. We've got a link up on our Wiki here

https://zcaportal.org/wiki/bin/view/ZCA/DonateNow

We'll use any funds to support ZCA sponsored development on Zenoss and Zenpacks with ZCA vetted developers. We'll be releasing any code funded this way to the community under the GPL v2.

Finally, lots of Zenoss can be confusing or frightening to new users. The ZCA is here to help, and can put you in touch with community developers and consultants to ease your deployment or configuration. Please contact me if you're interested.
