The Zenoss Core partner ecosystem is comprised of Zenoss Community members who offer commercial or technical services to other members. Participation in this ecosystem does not include an endorsement from the developers of Zenoss Core or Zenoss Inc. Rather the members of the community can comment and rate their experiences with other members who provide these services. Ideally the partners who prove their worth through a peer rating system will be able to generate additional business.
How to Participate
The members of our partner communities are encouraged to participate in a way that makes sense for them.
- Complete your Community Profile - Make sure you have completely filled out your community profile, you may create a profile for your organization and use your logo as your avatar if you like
- Join the Appropriate Groups - there are many groups depending on the type of partner you are (you may join as many groups as you like)
- Join the Appropriate Communties - there are communities that address the needs for the type of partner you are (you may join as many communities as you like) and post about yourself on the forum.
- Introduce yourself - post a discussion topic or blog post about your services
- Share your successes - If you have a success story about using or supporting Zenoss Core for a client share them
- Show off your knowledge - in our forums by posting relevant non-commercial tips and tricks, good "karma" in the forums is an excellent way to market your expertise
Types of Partners
The following categorizations of partners are meant to offer a way for the community to logically organize. Partners may offer multiple types of services and are encouraged to participate in each community as they see fit.
Support and Service
Support and services partners offer services to augment your experience with Zenoss Core. Examples of these kinds of services are:
- Installation
- Configuration and Set-up
- Hosted Instances of Zenoss Core
- Integration of Zenoss Core with other technologies (e.g. Puppet or HP Openview)

Zenoss Core training partners are those partners that offer training on how to use Zenoss Core or on related network management topics.

Some Zenoss Core community members may wish to develop ZenPacks based on specifications of another user for profit. Companies that have complimentary technology that they wish to integrate with Zenoss Core are encouraged to do the same.
