Developer Resources

Zenoss Core is developed collaboratively with our community of users. Most developers tend to provide their own discrete bits of code via Zenpacks but everyone is welcome to submit patches and bugs via our public Trac instance (user/pass zenoss/zenoss).

 

We have sub-communities dedicated to ZenPack Development and Porting & Platforms.

 

There are also dedicated forums for external developers (zenoss-dev) and for ZenPack development (zenoss-zenpacks).

 

We also provide the Zenoss Developer's Guide to help you get started and you may download the Zenoss APIs.

Contribution Form

Zenoss does accept user contributions using the following procedure:

  • Please complete the form below.
  • Create a ticket in our ticketing system (Instructions here).
  • Add the keyword "contribute" to the ticket.
  • Attach your patch or code to the ticket.
