If you are just getting started exploring Zenoss, you may be wondering what's all this talk about Zenpacks? In a nutshell, Zenpacks enable you to rapidly extend and modify Zenoss. However, there is a lot more to the story when it comes to what you can do with a Zenpack - from monitoring a new device type to extending the data model.
To help explain the concept, I sat down with one of our product engineers, Simon Jakesch, and asked him to help explain how Zenpacks are used to enhance and expand Zenoss's functionality. Here's the video,
