Then you should stop at by the Cloud Scaling demo starting at 7:30pm  (PDT) today at the Velocity Web Performance and Operations Conference, Zenoss, OpsCode and Dyn Inc.will be coming together to present a  real-life/real-time Web failure scenario, that will show session  attendees how to manage a highly scalable and redundant enterprise Web  environment, using integrated tool chains to avoid disaster without  manual intervention.

 

Dynamic Network  Services (Dyn Inc.) has provided a reservation system for their DynTini event at Velocity 2010 as a  Web application hosted in multiple regions in Amazon's Elastic Compute  Cloud (EC2), utilizing the Dynect  Platform for global server Load Balancing and geo-targeting. IT  automation vendor, Opscode and  Zenoss,  will demonstrate how to use integrated tools to repair and prevent  systems failure and maintain service levels even with heavy Web load and  traffic.
